I am a qualified Child Psychotherapeutic Counsellor working in French and in English. I trained at IATE (Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education) in London, one of UK’s leading institutes in Child Mental Health, and later furthered my training at the famous Tavistock clinic to deepen my work with adolescents.I also hold a certificate of the Therapeutic Arts.

After working in the media industry for several years between Paris and London, I became a mother. This profound change compelled me to review what it was of meaning I hoped to get from my working life.

While starting out this journey of discovery, I began volunteering in the child mental health charity, Place2Be. This proved a formative moment, I knew I had found my purpose.

Following this seminal experience, I trained at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education, one of UK’s leading institutes in order to become a Child Psychotherapist. I then furthered my training at the renowned Tavistock Clinic in London, to deepen my work with adolescents.

For the subsequent years, I worked with children and young people in varied and diverse settings across London, from private practice, to schools and at other child mental health charities (Unlocking Potential, DreamArts).

After 15 years living in London, my family and I relocated to France, in Nice, where I now work in private practice. Returning to studying was not an easy thing to undertake but it gave me a meaningful sense of purpose, which was lacking from the previous chapter of my career.

The journey felt at times tedious but I can say it was, without a doubt, worthwhile. Not only am I passionate about my work, but learnt so much along the way
skills and knowledge that will forever serve and guide me through life. And I keep learning, from continual professional development but most of all from my clients.

Returning to studying was not an easy thing to undertake but it gave me a meaningful sense of purpose, which was lacking from the previous chapter of my career.
